Snowy Ebey’s Landing, Whidbey Island, WA.
Two afternoons, ending on 1 January 2022, 5:04 pm

“I started this painting of Ebey’s Landing on December 31st, but It got dark quickly and I had to go back the next day and finish it. The sky was totally different, but I prefer this moody version. Quite a few fir needles stuck in the paint as I was painting on this windy evening, to me those are trophies of authenticity. I had to lay the painting flat on the bluff and work standing over it for a period of time.”
