This piece, created shortly after the revocation of reproductive rights in the United States, explores a deconstructed vision of what a girl is and is for. Harking back to the “good old days” of homogeneous and silenced women, this piece reflects the thinking that women’s bodies are merely nests for eggs, resources to be kept safely buttoned up and restrained behind fences.
